Townsville is a beautiful place to live, but there is a serious side to living in North Queensland with potential risks for natural disasters such as cyclones, bushfires and flooding.
Council is committed to educating residents about these natural dangers and in order to truly understand the impact of disaster events, we need to work with our local community.
We want to know what your experiences are, what your needs are and identify any gaps.
By filling out this survey, you are helping us ensure the best preparation education is being provided to the community.
The information provided helps us understand our community's knowledge of natural disasters that affect our region and what areas we need to further educate the community to ensure residents know how to best manage their safety during a natural disaster.
This is an ongoing survey that will be assessed regularly to keep up-to-date information available, and assist Townsville City Council in providing continuous education and relevant information for our residents.
