About the project
Townsville City Council plans to upgrade the intersection of Dalrymple Service Road and Angus Avenue.
This project is funded by the Australian Government Black Spot Program.
Black Spot projects target those road locations where crashes are occurring. By funding measures such as roundabouts at dangerous locations, the program reduces the risk of crashes.
As part of these works, Council will:
construct a concrete roundabout
construct a pedestrian refuge and install associated kerb ramps
construct a small section of plain concrete footpath
manage property accesses and realign the pedestrian/cycle path.
How can you get involved?
Council values community feedback on all our projects and initiatives, and invites residents to submit their feedback on the proposed intersection upgrade.
The short feedback form can be found on this page.
How long is the consultation period?
Public Consultation on the proposed intersection upgrade will run from Thursday 13 August until Wednesday 2 September.
