Background:
Townsville has three unique Botanic Gardens that include Anderson Gardens, The Palmetum and Queens Gardens. Each of these Botanic Gardens feature a diverse array of plants and wildlife capturing flora and fauna from around the world.

Council welcomes you to participate and Have Your Say on the Botanic Gardens project. Your valuable feedback will provide community guidance on Council's decision making and planning towards our Botanic Gardens Masterplan for our future generations to enjoy.
How can you get involved?
Council values community feedback on the Botanic Gardens and invites all of our community including visitors to our region to submit their feedback via a short survey found at the bottom of this page.
How long is the consultation period?
Community Consultation for the Botanic Gardens Masterplan opens Monday, 9 March and will conclude on Friday, 3 April 2020.
The Botanic Gardens Masterplan aims to develop a holistic approach to evolving and improving Townsville's garden experience.
