Bus Stop Upgrade Gouldian Avenue

About the project

Townsville City Council is committed to providing bus stop facilities that are safe, support an all-inclusive community and improve community connectivity.

Bus stop facilities within your suburb are scheduled for upgrade in the 2019/2020 financial year.

As part of these works, Council will:

• remove three (3) street trees
• construct a new concrete slab
• install a seat and shelter
• install a J Pole and disability signage
• install tactile indicators and refurbish pavement markings.

Council values community feedback on all our projects and invites residents to submit their feedback on the proposed bus stop upgrade.

Public Consultation on this project will run from Monday 10 February until Friday 28 February.
