Consultation has concluded

Townsville City Council is committed to providing bus stop facilities that are safe, support an all-inclusive community and improve community connectivity.

Bus stop facilities on Morrell Street are scheduled for upgrade in the 2019/2020 financial year.

As part of these works, Council will:

  • construct a new concrete slab and kerb ramp
  • install a seat and shelter
  • install a J Pole and disability signage
  • install tactile indicators and refurbish pavement markings.

Council will contact residents before we begin construction activities.
