About the project
The Development Assessment process is key to growing Townsville and securing investment for our city to create safe, sustainable, and attractive places for people to visit, live and do business.
We are committed to providing you with the best customer experience. The purpose of the Development Assessment Customer Journey Mapping initiative is to listen and understand the experience from our customers’ perspective in order to identify and make improvements to the process.
A key to ensuring the customer experience is providing greater certainty of outcomes and reducing assessment timeframes – we believe our development assessment service can be a major reason and incentive to invest in Townsville.
The outcomes of the customer satisfaction survey will be used to inform future Council practices.
