Kevin Schreiber Ride Facility
PROJECT UPDATE Council has recreated the popular bike-friendly circuit that was part of the Traffic Training Centre when it first opened in 1975. The new concrete track, which opens this weekend, includes stop signs, line markings and other road signs so children can learn the road rules while they’re riding their bike or scooter. In 2020, Council invited the community to provide feedback in relation to open space improvements proposed to improve the overall user experience. The project received an overwhelming number of responses that has provided Council guidance in shaping this park facility, and more importantly future open space parks within our region. An overview of the feedback informed Council of the following: General support for the bike facilities Support for investment in the Currajong area Council has successfully installed the new circuit infrastructure - photos of the improvements can be found in the Images Tab.
