Pathway Renewal - Bonnett Road

Townsville City Council plans to construct a pathway that extends along the northern side of Bonnett Road between Mount Low Parkway and Sanctum Boulevard.

The new path will provide students connectivity and safety when commuting to nearby schools.

As part of these works, Council will:

• construct approximately 1.33 kilometres of 1.8-metre-wide asphalt path
• construct a pedestrian refuge on the approach to the intersection of Bonnett Road and Mount Low Parkway
• widen the road on both sides of the proposed pedestrian refuge.

Council will contact residents before we begin construction activities.
