Council would like to provide you with a further update on the park’s playground renewal project within Cambridge Park, Vincent.
Council invited the community to provide feedback in relation to the installation of two playgrounds aimed at both the junior and adolescent group including shade structures that will improve the overall user experience within the open space. The project received 327 visitors to the page with 17 registered responses that has provided Council guidance in shaping this project and more importantly future open space parks within our region.
An overview of the feedback informed Council of the following:
Overall considerable support for the project,
Support for investment in the Vincent area,
Concerns raised regarding maintenance and safety and upkeep of the park which have been addressed, and
Support was identified for additional assets within the park; however, outside these works.
