Consultation has concluded
In October 2019, Townsville City Council invited existing and potential future users of the Ross River Dam facilities to identify community values associated with the ongoing management and use of the dam and surrounds
Council received 318 online survey submissions, as well as a further 45 pinned comments on the interactive map, that have helped council understand associated community values.
Community feedback is highly valued and identified community values will inform the development of plans advising on the intensification of recreation at the Ross River Dam.

Council will continue to engage with the community regarding potential use at the Ross River Dam in the next stage of the project.
