Consultation has concluded
Townsville City Council is developing its Safe Place Townsville Action Plan 2022 – 2024 and is seeking feedback from the community.
Council has identified four priority areas that are in the control of local government, and is seeking community input for developing a plan for action.
Townsville City Council is committed to listening to the people of Townsville to help guide decision making and planning for how we build, manage and activate for safe places in Townsville. We understand that community safety is something that all levels of government play a part in and we are looking to ensure we have an action plan for the part we can play.
How can I get Involved?
Public Consultation on the Safe Place Townsville Action Plan 2022 – 2024 will run until 5pm Monday November 22nd 2021.
Feedback on key points of the Safe Place Townsville Action Plan is now open to all community members. Please use the Survey Form below to provide your responses.
The consultation period will close at 5pm on Monday November 22nd, 2021.
During the online consultation period, Council will host a Community Workshop on Tuesday 16th November from 5:30pm to 7.30pm, open to all registered participants. Registration for the workshop is available by completing the associated fields within the survey below.
A workshop for Community Organisations will be held on Tuesday 16th November from 10:30am to 12pm open to registered community groups and organisations.
Further details on the Community Workshop will be provided to all registered attendees.
