Prospective park upgrades can provide a better quality use of open spaces for everyone to enjoy, help keep our city cooler, and support biodiversity within our local region.

The Gardenia Park Potential Future Opportunities consultation is the very first step in sourcing our community's aspirations for this open space environment. Once feedback has been received a consultation report will be used as the steppingstone for potential enhancements of the park in the future. The Gardenia Park potential future opportunities aim is to develop a holistic approach to evolving and improving Townsville's parks and open space experience.

Gardenia Park is positioned within the street boundaries of Gardenia Avenue, Fortunia Lane and Torenia Close, in Kirwan.

Community consultation for the Gardenia Park potential future opportunities opens Monday 10 May and will conclude on Friday 25 June 2021.
