Bus Stop Upgrade 179 Geaney Lane

Townsville City Council is committed to providing bus stop facilities that are safe, support an all-inclusive community and improve community connectivity.

Bus stop facilities on Geaney Lane are scheduled for upgrade in the 2019/2020 financial year.

As part of these works, Council will:

• construct a new concrete slab and associated kerb and channel
• install a J Pole, seat, shelter and disability signage
• construct associated gravel driveway and concrete pathway
• install tactile indicators and refurbish pavement markings.

Council will contact residents before we begin construction activities.
