Consultation has concluded

Existing bus stop fronting Rowes Bay Villas.

Townsville City Council is committed to providing bus stop facilities that are safe, support an all-inclusive community and improve community connectivity.

Bus stop facilities on Cape Pallarenda Road are scheduled for upgrade in the 2019/2020 financial year.

As part of these works, Council will:

  • remove existing bus stop infrastructure and concrete slabs
  • construct new concrete slabs (to suit new shelters)
  • reinstate bus stop infrastructure
  • install solar lighting.

Council will contact residents before we begin construction activities.
