Bus Stop Upgrade Warburton Street

About the project

Townsville City Council is committed to providing bus stop facilities that are safe, support an all-inclusive community and improve community connectivity.

Bus stop facilities within your suburb are scheduled for upgrade in the 2019/2020 financial year.

As part of these works, Council will:

• relocate the existing bus stop fronting No. 11 Bundock Street to the front of No. 39 Warburton Street
• construct a new concrete slab and associated section of path
• install a seat and shelter
• install a J Pole and disability signage
• install tactile indicators and refurbish pavement markings.

Public Consultation on this project will run from Monday 10 February until Friday 28 February.
