About the project

Townsville City Council plans to renew the pathway that extends along the eastern side of Charters Towers Road between No. 140 and No. 142 Charters Towers Road.

The existing pathway is heavily used by pedestrians and needs repair.

As part of these works, Council will:

  • construct approximately 33 metres of full width coloured concrete path with cobble banding
  • reconstruct an associated section of kerb and channel.

How can you get involved?

Council values community feedback on all our projects and initiatives, and invites residents to submit their feedback on the proposed pathway renewal.

Public Consultation on the proposed pathway renewal will run from Monday 03 August until Friday 21 August.
