Community Safety Survey

What does Community Safety mean to you?

Townsville City Council is conducting a survey to better understand how residents feel about community safety, and get a better understanding of what concerns or issues people would like to see addressed.

While Council works closely with State and Federal government to address community safety, there are ways in which local governments can influence better outcomes for residents.

This survey will help Council understand peoples perceptions of what it means to be safe, and how we can work with the community to improve the services we deliver.

The Townsville City Council's Community Safety Advisory Committee will take this valuable feedback and incorporate it into our policies and strategies.

You are also invited to share ideas on community safety and collaborate on our interactive map. By placing markers on relevant locations that may be of concern on this map, you can provide feedback and include photos that may be relevant to your area of interest.
