Freemasons Park Playground Renewal

About the project
Townsville City Council is undertaking early planning for the playground renewal at Freemasons Park, Pallarenda and is seeking community input to co-design the renewal.
Freemasons Park represents a vital community asset intended to gather everyone in a fun, welcoming and confortable environment. A re-design of the current playground layout could improve the parks' function, amenity and reduce the impact on the nearby Fig Tree.
While any improvements to the playground are not yet part of Council's Capital Works Program for construction, community feedback will help determine the preference for the replacement playground equipment. It will also help support potential future grant applications and funding opportunities.

- What improvement you would like to see

Next steps
Council will review and evaluate all survey responses and feedback. The final design will consider these while adhering to Council's playground design guidelines and standards. Council will continue the community as the planning of this project progresses.
