About the project
Townsville City Council is committed to providing bus stop facilities that are safe, support an all-inclusive community and improve community connectivity.
Bus stop facilities within your suburb are scheduled for upgrade in the 2020/2021 financial year.
As part of these proposed works, Council may:
relocate the existing bus stop fronting the Fulham Road Plaza to the front of No. 126 Fulham Road
construct a new concrete slab and associated section of plain concrete pathway
install a seat, shelter, J Pole, and disability signage
install tactile indicators and refurbish pavement markings
remove street trees and vegetation within the pathway alignment.
How can you get involved?
Council values community feedback on all our projects and invites residents to submit their feedback on the proposed bus stop upgrade.
