Consultation has concluded
Townsville City Council plans to reconstruct the existing connecting pathway between the corner of Ross River Road and Hudson Street, and the southwestern elbow of Kittyhawk Crescent.
This project is funded by the Australian Government under the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (LRCI Program).
This program supports local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local economies to help communities bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of these works, Council may:
construct a section of 2.5-metre-wide plain concrete pathway
install associated kerb ramps
tie the pathway into existing driveway accesses
remove vegetation as required.
Council values community feedback on all our projects and invites you to submit feedback on the proposed pathway upgrade.
Public Consultation will run from Tuesday 8 December until Monday 28 December 2020.
Council has scheduled these works for the 2020/21 financial year and will contact you or your tenants before we begin construction activities.
