In November 2022, Townsville City Council invited surrounding Annandale residents and the greater Townsville community to have their say at an onsite engagement to discuss the future opportunities within Marabou Park. The community met with local Divisional Councillor, Councillor Batkovic and Council's Stakeholder Engagement Team where the community provided guidance in shaping potential future upgrades and improvements to the park.
