Townsville City Council is committed to providing parks, sporting fields and recreation areas with facilities that promote and contribute to the health and wellbeing of our city.
Council welcomes you to participate and have your say on this project. Your feedback will contribute to shaping this park and guide Council on decision making and planning for the future.
As part of this project, Council plans to:
install new playground equipment
install new seats, a bin and a dog bag dispenser
install a new park sign and water bubbler
construct a new concrete pedestrian pathway to connect community facilities
landscape the area.
Council invites visitors and surrounding residents of the park to have their say on the new playground facility and community facilities proposed for Freshwater Park.
